DiSalvo is headed over to Europe to race in the World SuperSport class on a Triumph with new team mate Chaz Davies. In 2009, DiSalvo rode with the M4 Suzuki team and finished fifth overall with six podiums and a third place finish at the Daytona 200. He was teamed up with Martin Cardenas on the M4 squad and both riders were consistently at the front of the pack.

Mees finished the season in 2009 as a champion in the AMA Grand National Dirt Track Twins class. A great accomplishment for Mees, and usually it would be enough to keep your ride in a normal year. But 2010 is anything but a normal year – especially for Mees, who lost his ride and is currently putting together his own team for 2010. Mees has been busy ice racing (and winning) in the off season and so far he is 10 for 10.

Coming off a seventh overall finish in the Lucas Oil outdoor motocross, series, Tickle is ready to fight for the podium in the SX Lites class. Originally from North Carolina, Tickle is a former Loretta Lynn’s Champion.

Larsen grew up just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. He raced in 2009 for the Canidae team and finished ninth overall in Monster Energy SX Lites class and sixteenth in the Lucas Oil Outdoors 250 class. Larsen was the 2008 Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Horizon winner and also won the 2008 Loretta Lynn’s Motocross A Pro Sport Champion and the 2007 Loretta Lynn’s Motocross A Class Champion. In 2010, he is racing over in Australia with the KTM team.

Jason Thomas just finished up a great off season. He is the newly crowned ADAC German Supercross Champion, and also won the Montreal Supercross in October for the second time. After missing Anaheim 1, he has finished 14th at both Phoenix and A2 last weekend. This is his 14th year on the AMA Supercross Series and he’s hoping this season to be his best.

Rockstar has a strong desire to build a program from Amateur to Support, to Factory status for their athletes and Bill’s program is doing just that. So far their season has been pretty good for them as the series heads to San Fransisco this weekend.

Darrick has been involved with the biggest names in supermoto since early 2000. Names like Mike Metzger, Doug Chandler, Scott Russell and Gerald Delepine. He raced in the Nor-Cal Supermoto USA Series and won a championship and a Vet Class Championship in 2003. He handled the press launch for the Aprilia Supermoto bike in 2005 in downtown Reno. At one point he was an importer for Vertemati motorcycles. Darrick currently teaches supermoto to young riders looking to get into the sport in northern California.

Wiles won the 2009 AMA GNC Singles Championship giving Kawasaki their first dirt track national championship. Quite an impressive accomplishment, considering that Wiles also sustained two broken wrists during the 2009 racing season, and came back from the injury to win three nationals including a twin’s national on a Harley-Davidson XR750 at Pomona.

Ben Bostrom finished off the 2009 AMA Superbike season in fifth place with eight podium finishes. Bostrom will be competing in 2010 in the AMA Superbike class on Yamaha. He is teamed up with Chris Clark, son of team owner Pat Clark. Ben is a former AMA Superbike Champion, Super Sport Champion and Dirt Track Champion.

Hunter was a BMX champion racing and living in Arizona when he started racing pocket bikes. Hunter fell in love with motorcycle racing and convinced his family to pick up and move to California so he could pursue his dreams of becoming a professional motorcycle racer. In the 2008 Formula GP class he finished in first place 6 out of 9 races. In 2009, Hunter moved up to bigger bikes and entered the PRO EXTREME class and won the championship.

Ryan scored another podium this past weekend at round two of the Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites class in Phoenix. He had an awesome ride, leading the race for a while, and eventually finished second behind Jake Weimer. This is Ryan’s 12th podium of his career and it looks like he has many more to come. At the opening round at Anaheim 1 he finished 3rd and now sits 2nd overall in points (8 behind Weimer) as the series heads back to California for Anaheim 2 this Saturday.

Mike has been a technician in the pro motocross ranks for 16 years. He has worked with Steve Lamson, Ezra Lusk, Ricky Carmichael, Mike Alessi, Chad Reed, and Ryan Dungey in that order. Just the list of riders is amazing and overall he has 11 AMA Championships to his credit. Mike could be considered the most successful mechanic in motocross history. This past weekend Dungey scored his first win in the 450 SX class and it looks like they have a great shot at earning another championship together.

Micky was a factory rider for several teams in the 80’s and 90’s and won multiple championships including the AMA 125 National Champion in 1986 and 1987 as well as World titles. When he retired from motocross he made his career in freestyle and was very successful. He eventually got involved in Supermoto where he was crowned the 2005 Unlimted Supermoto AMA Champion. Also in 2005 he won the Pikes Peak race in a world record time of 12 mins and 12 secs. To his credit he has a class win at the Baja 1000 along with many other accomplishments. His involvement in the motorcycle industry has been amazing and he continues to impress. Most recently he has been working on the Theatrical Freestyle MX show called Nuclear Cowboyz.

Brant Russell has been in the motorcycle aftermarket business since 1978. He was the marketing guy for several key companies including HPS products, Richter Privateer, Noleen Racing, and up until a few months back was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Yoshimura R&D of America, Inc. Brant is now part of Acorn Woods Communications and works with numerous motorsports racing efforts including the Suzuki Supercross/Motocross racing teams, The Suzuki Factory Superbike Road racing team and the Suzuki Factory Pro ATV racing efforts. Brant also has an extensive background in motorsports marketing. He and his brother Steve were Jeremy McGrath’s first agent and have represented numerous racing athletes over the years.

Jake returns to the West Coast with the very successful Pro Circuit squad led by Mitch Payton, and with Dungey in the 450’s, it seems Jake is the favorite to win by a good margin.

2009 was definitely Ryan’s year. He started things off by winning the Monster Energy Supercross Lites West Title, followed that up with the Lucas Oil 250 Championship, then he led the U.S. team in the Trophy des Nations. To top things off he also took the Racer X Rider of the Year Award for 2009. 2010 is a new year and it will present some new challenges for Ryan as he moves to the 450 class, but his track record shows that he is up for it.

Chris works closely with sales and engineering to “keep the plates spinning” so to speak, and keep things moving on new products, application questions/issues that arise, and rationalizing and pruning old products from Wiseco’s offering.

Last year Ben made his Supercross debut with the TiLUBE Brown Motorsports team. He had a great season finishing 12th in the West Coast series and had very few riders in front of him that weren’t on a factory team. In Outdoors for 2009 he finished 15th and was very consistent. Ben is a very hard worker and is one of the most focused racers in the 250 class. This year he’s signed with Butler Brothers MX and will be riding the Suzuki RMZ250. He’s living in California and very excited to show his speed and what he can do after a year of experience.
